Field's Great was originally designed to be mixed in a shaker bottle with water for convenience; however, many people choose to mix it with other things such as almond milk, rice milk, etc. Feel free to add ingredients and blend to create your favorite smoothie. 

While Field's Great will stay fresh for several hours after mixing; it is best to consume the liquid within five to ten minutes after preparation because the fibers in Field's Great actually begin to absorb the liquid as it sets.
